Born in Milwaukee to loving parents and a Springer Spaniel named Shauna. Got straight A’s in school, but never much cared. Played piano for eight years until lessons turned music into a chore instead of a joy. Spent most of high school shooting three-pointers and muskie fishing. Picked up a guitar at Winona State and never put it down. Started writing songs without knowing how or why. Maybe it's best to keep it that way.
