Raised in California and schooled in Colorado before ending up in Minneapolis. Went to his first Grateful Dead show at age 16, and started playing bass immediately afterwards. He considers Enchanted Ape to be the most musically diverse band he's ever played with. In his free time, he likes to play ultimate frisbee, even though he sucks at it.
